I saw a dealer at a Dallas, Texas gunshow who had three of these when they opened the doors. I went to the nearest Wells Fargo bank, withdrew the 2K he was asking and went back to find all three had been bought by one buyer. He directed me to a seller who was not displaying a Poly-Tech Chinese Legend he had in the box, Pre-Ban. He was selling a bunch of Norinco SKSs and Mosin Nagants. I went to his truck, and he actually had a safe welded to the frame inside his camper. He asked for $1400 and I said if he would throw in 2 Mosin Nagants 91s (Cossacks) he could have the whole 2K. He said 1-91 or 2-91/30s with hex receivers....done deal.

Man I remember when I used to drool over these back in the 70's iirc they were advertised at $299.00 and ak mag fed sks's for $199.00 on the back page of SOF.
Way too much for a 16 year old pot head kid.
