Glad I bought mine from Classic Arms back when it was $700.

Glad I got my TIGR way back when I wanted the original PSL. Paid a little more for the TIGR but it was/is a real SVD. Now the PSL is not much less than what the TIGRs were selling for a couple of years ago. I understand inflation, but $2000 for a PSL... of course with MAK-90s approaching $1000... never mind. UGH!!!!!

Somebody must have been interested, they're already sold out.

One has to put their mind to the thoughts of someone new getting into military style firearm collecting these days to understand why prices that seem high to us "old timers" are acceptable. To someone like me that saw SAR-1s for under $300, MAK-90s and earlier Norincos sitting on shelves collecting dust, todays prices are crazy, even accounting for inflation. New people into the sport weren't lucky enough to understand why we complained when SAR series AKMs hit $400 and MAK-90s the same.

Still $2000 for a wet noodle barrel AKM is and will never be acceptable to this old coot.

There is still cheap stuff on the market, it just so happens that the stuff that used to be expensive is cheap, and the stuff that used to be cheap is expensive.
