GOT is done. Wrapped up tonight.

Not sure I'm, totally, okay with the ending, but it was, probably, the best way to end it.

The new King was a surprise, but it may have been the best choice.

Oh well, gotta get a new fix on some other series, but none of them are going to be as good as this one was.

Yeah not sure yet about the ending. Your right though didn't see the pick for king.

Meh...kind of a snooze-fest after last weeks grim gut-punch.

I guess that was their version of a happy ending.

I was thinking along similar lines. GOT came in with a bang and went out with a whimper. It ended well, but I was expecting more, I guess.

Yeah the whole thing seemed kinda like a rush job.

Dany went crazy so Jon killed her and they all lived happily ever after.....and oh yeah Bran is the new king.

A couple of episodes to really wind it down and tie up all the loose ends would have been better than what just kinda seemed like a rip off of the LOTR ending, with Jon/Frodo riding off into the sunset.

I read several months ago that the London bookies had Bran the favorite to be king.

This was one of those things that was going to satisfy NO ONE.

I agree with that twist. If you listened to Tyrion's reasoning, it, actually, made perfect sense (given the events that happened, previously, with Jon).

It was the only choice left.

You don't know what you missed. I really enjoyed it (even Season 8).

It was a great series, but some people would argue that point.

That's all right. I get into anime, and not a lot of adults are interested in anime. I come by it honest as the pencil drawn Atro Boy anime came out around the time I was born and popular enough to be on tv in Des Moines Ia when I was old enough to remember seeing it. Now finishing up Darling In The Franxx and am apprehensive about how it ends.

I haven't seen it but my sister watched
She was telling me about this scene which was later edited to remove the Starbucks coffee cup

From what I heard about that scene, Dani, while flying on Drogon, has the ability to time travel. She went forward, got her coffee, and came back....so it belongs.....:eyebrows:

That picture almost looks like Tom Baker back when he was doing "Dr. Who" in the late 70s. All that's missing is the multi-colored scarf.
See my av.

Now you know where he got the idea from......though I suspect it was probably a common style in the late 1800's.
