Here's 3 pigs that were killed with one shot @ 175 yds. from my Bushmaster a couple yrs. ago. I was shooting hand loaded 55 gr. Hornady V-Max. Babies were standing next to their mama at their hole. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/Canis-latrans/whistlepigs006-1.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/Canis-latrans/coyotehunting-2.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/Canis-latrans/bush16in.jpg Coyote hunting is on top of my fun things to hunt. Since groundhogs have more or less disappeared due to coyotes, it seems the right thing to do to get the population back up. Two less whistle pig eaters. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/Canis-latrans/yotesjpgfull.jpg

Dang, 3 with one shot, that's pretty wild. :big-eye-eek:

You know these past few years I've seen quite a few Coyote tracks, usually when looking for Deer tracks, but have only actually seen a few Coyote's. I don't know if more guys are hunting them and hence they're more wary or what.

I never saw the 2 babies when I shot. Lucky shot indeed.

Ground hogs were always my favorite target practice as a kid. Farmers in the area were happy to have my grandpa, brother, and me out to take care of those varmints, so long as nobody was working the field when we came. :)
