Looks great in its SS finish, I have all the upgrades except the BHOA for now, since its recomended that it be broken in first anyway and I want more mags It sort of works out cheaper calculating the shipping charges.

I will try it out tommorrow, the only issue so far is that neither of the mags that I order drop free. =( Any tips on what and where to trim?

I will post some pics when I get back from the range tommorrow.

Your CMMG mags will drop free if you want. CMMG incorporated two small tabs on the rear spine of the mag that can be filed or sanded for a perfect fit in the mag well.
Take a little off at a time to get the fit you want.
The information is on the instruction sheet.

Man I love this kit!, my fingers are hurting though. That is better then my wallet anyday.

Filed the mags a little by hand and they drop free real smooth, thanks for the heads up on that. This is that first time I have to make a mod to an AR mag.

He are some pics from the range. First I shot of hand from 25 yards about 40 rounds or so, I quit counting when I was loading.

Next I started shooting at the first from the rest and my target was blow half way off by the wind, I used it as an opportunity to take shots at it every time it popped up or hung down. So good practice on a moving target for a change.

After restapling the target I dumped about 3 mags (75ish rounds) at it with a few fliers. Id say pretty good for off hand from a bench, iron sites and windy.

I had two malfunctions, one was my error I didnt make sure the mag was seated and caused a missfeed. The other looks like a stove pipe which was not my error.

This is the a pic of the ammo used, the mags, including the 556 rounds used at the end to clean the barrel a little. My new BOB binoculars that I camoed.

And here is a pic of the girl during a cease fire. I need to get some more mags and the BHOA so I dont have to use the screwdriver!

You need a mag loader tool. I, too, suffered from sore thumbs until I ordered the stinkin' loader, and now I don't mind loading the .22 mags any more.

I recommend you get CMMG's "anti-jam" charging handle, too - it prevents the type of internal stovepipe malfunction your picture shows, and I used to get them every couple of mags before the new charging handle.

The BHOA is pretty cool, and needs no break-in - it's the BHOA-activating magazines that need a break-in period. Even without BHOA-activating mags, the BHOA gives you a functional BHO for cease-fires or easier magazine insertion.

I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the locking-collar chamber adapter, and the BHOA-compatible automatic trip!

Which mag loader do you recomend? Im using only CMMG mags.
When I order the BHOA I think Im gonna get the handle and maybe 1 or 2 more mags.

The auto trip is just about finished with testing. It's very simple and seems to be working great.

That's the BDM mag loader. I reloaded my .22 mags last night (15xCMMG, 6xCiener), and my thumbs are doin' fine!

Getting better and it is showing. The last rounds of the first 525 round box of ammo (about 300 rounds). Compare the results! No other malfunctions, except for one round that failed to fire. I blasted it up for a few hundered rounds then started to move slower and really practice breathing, stance, trigger sqeeze , etc. I think with the improved practiced I have been getting and cost saved so far that the kit has already paid for itself.

That's looking pretty good once you slowed down. I have to say I also like the .22 LR AR15's. Can't beat them for low cost shooting practic and fun.
