Nice "mean" looking brake I bought the "shark" breacher serrated end brake, cone style krink brake, ak74 style, slant brake and I don't think any of them make that much difference in recoil or sound supression. Now a silencer, that's the best but evil here in NY, so I guess I have to be loud for now. get a spring washer for mounting, you'll be glad you did.

I've got one - but I must confess that I've never shot with it on at night to be able to tell how well it works...

Tapco has AR-style birdcage hidders too which are US made so don't add to your parts count. I have one on my 10-63 UF. Not east-block but I saw a review of this in the Guns and Ammo complete book of the AK-47 that's out and it worked very well in the review.

I bet this rommie version works similarly to the AR-type.
