The 1903A3 Smith Corona for sale is the bottom rifle in the group photo. EDIT, found out it's not Keith's cartouche mark. A lot of the hardware is Remington on the weapon but the receiver is SC. The barrel is marked SC 1943, the month 10, with the flaming bomb ordnance mark behind the front sight. It's a very accurate rifle and I've shot it very little in the 10+ years I've owned it. Looking for $800 shipped or $750 face to face. I'm located East of Atlanta, GA near Snellville, GA. Will ship to a C&R license, or regular 01 dealer. If Face to Face a copy of your GA Drivers License for me to keep for my records. Sold!

Next is the virtually MINT condition 1903 Rock Island Springfield WWII reworked rifle. This has no paper work for DCM but that is what I believe the rifle to be, an early 1960's DCM rifle. It came to my collection by purchasing it from the son of an 84 year old WWII veteran that had passed away. I've had this weapon for about 11 years in my collection. It is in the safe range of serial numbers to shoot. When I obtained this weapon it still had Cosmoline in the screw heads and bayonet lug. There is still some in the butt-trap storage compartment of the stock. I have shot this weapon slightly more than 100 rounds. If you ever wanted to own an example of a classic US 1903 that looks like it just rolled out of an arsenal rebuild program this is IT! The stock is totally unchanged, no extra BLO or Tung Oil has been applied to it. The Parkerizing is 99% perfect dark, almost black in color, gray. Very dull, not shiny as most parkerized weapons get after being rubbed down many times when being cleaned. I don't own a throat erosion gauge so I can't tell you a number for either of the Springfields I'm selling. I'm pretty sure this one would show no signs of wear at the throat. Muzzle is razor sharp, tight and crisp. The barrel is marked HS for High Standard with the flaming bomb ordnance mark, the year is 1944, the month 11. Arsenal mark on stock says AAW, not sure what that one is for. Could be Augusta Arsenal. There was in inspector with the AAW mark but he stopped being an inspector in 1906 so I doubt its AA Whiste. The stock is a Scant grip type 1903 stock and it has some tiger stripe figure in it. Really this is a beautiful gunstock and a bit unusual in a military weapon. Given it's very pristine arsenal fresh nature looking for $1,000 on this one shipped.

The last rifle is the 1871 Swiss Vetterli, which is the longest rifle in the top of the group photo. It is in Excellent condition. The Swiss cartouche marks are very good condition as is the checkering. Bluing is excellent and the bore looks mint. The rifling is sharp, crisp, mirror bright and shiny. Not a dark spot to it, looks brand new. This rifle is 10.4 mm rimfire. There are ways to alter the firing pin and form modern centerfire brass that would use 44 magnum type cast lead alloy bullets. I thought about doing the conversion but being a C&R purist I resisted altering the bolt face and making up a new FP to shoot it. No cleaning rod with this weapon. I wonder what happened to all the cleaning rods for Vetterli rifles as I've yet to find a Vet with the rod in it. Anyway this is an outstanding example, mechanically perfect as far as I can tell. Looking for $450 shipped or $400 in a face-to-face transaction.http://www.gunsnet.net/photopost/data/500/Addd_image_5.jpg
