And if so, how do you like it...form, function, issues, etc?

WELCOME BACK!!! I have a couple of 1911, but not an SDS.

Should be picking up a Tanker model (4.25" barrel) from my FFL either tomorrow or the next day. I've read good reviews on the SDS line so I'm hopeful it will run well out of the box, but of course almost all 1911's need some tuning to be reliable...

This will be my first 1911...something that's been on my wish list for many years, but now given what may be coming down the pike at the national level decided it was time to pull the trigger...pun intended. :)

"Non-compliance" is the byword for the next 4 years....Whatever these Commucrat usurpers pass will, automatically, be unconstitutional, anyway.

I have a terrible aversion to Turkish guns

Picked it up today...seems like a very well made pistola...dry fires quite smoothly.

Different take down than I imagined (the 1911). JMB did some significant re-engineering in creating the Hi Power...
