I had this grip on an AK pistol I no longer own.
Anybody know the nationality?
Looks Hungarian to me.

I'd say Chinese too. Polytech would be my guess

I think the checkering is too fine for a Chinese, not to mention I think they used a slight slant to the top of the checkering. It does look Hungarian

My bet is Hungarian. Grain pattern is wrong for Chinese wood.

It's either Hungarian or Bulgarian, I'd say it'd look great on a Hungarian milled AK, but both used that type of wood.
