I did not think you were as old as you are.The only indication I ever got from you being older than I was you had kids no longer in house and you served for 20 years in the Army.I knew you had to be at least 38 if you joined when you were 18.

I had a break in service, and then ended up going back.
I was a carpeneter building houses for a few years in between.

Retirement is taking some getting used to however.
I cannot even lie about it.

I used to dream of the day when it would finally happen.
But now that it has, it's been sort of a let-down.
I've spent my entire adult life in the army.
Now, I feel sort of....lost...I guess.
