I know I'm probably gonna get blasted for this but what the hell...

I built it for my 12 year old daughter last Christmas. She doesn't really like shooting anything other than my .22's because she's scared of them for some reason. I did get her to shoot my 5.45 AR and she liked it but she refuses to shoot any of my AK's. So, I gambled that if I built her a totally girly rifle that she'd want to shoot it. Well, the gamble paid off. She was SO excited when she opened it. She wants to take it everywhere and show everybody. I told her that there are just some places that an AK can't go (pink or otherwise). She can't wait to get to the woods so she can shoot. She figured out how to break it down by her self and sat with a stop watch & timed herself to take it apart and reassemble it. I've had several people tell me that it's not a real AK and then I cycle the bolt carrier and ask 'em if a toy sounds like that...

It's a, '86 Romy G w/ a G2 FCG, US Gas Piston, Receiver made from my own flat & a Century PG. The whole thing was done in Duracoat sprayed with a Preval sprayer. The colors are: Pink Lady, East German Light Green & Commie Pinko...

NOW for the pics...

OK, you guys can start blasting me for the Kalishnakov blasphemy but the outcome was that I removed my daughter's unwarranted fear of AK's :yeah:

I showed this to a friends 13 year old daughter. She thought it looked pretty cool.

My daughter was 4 months shy of 13 when I gave it to her at Christmas last year. She loves shooting it. I think she loves the attention and comments she gets at the range as much or more than actually shooting it...
