I was given this stove along with other stuff as payment about 15 years ago when one of my neighbors move away. I used it a couple of times and packed it in my SHTF bag until today I pulled it out to check on everything and it finally ran out of gas.

I looked a while ago for replacement cans and found out that its no longer made. It is a Globe Trotter Gaz GT (106?) as far as I can tell and it uses a puncture style canister. From sifting the net I see that you could still get your hands on a canister in Europe but not the USA. Colman owns the Gaz company from what I can tell.

Not a huge deal, they sell brand new Colmans of similar style for about $20 at Walmart so I guess its time to get a new.

Geeze, how can you see that computer screen as dirty as it is? They still make Windex.:bigsmilebounce:

I've been cleaning the windows in the house today. That's why I noticed.

Nice looking little unit. Too bad you can't find the fuel canisters.

Im not giving up on it though. I will just leave it in the garage and maybe one day I can find a canister. Or modify to fit a current production fuel can that can still fit in it's original package.

I didn't actually read any of it, because I don't have one, but it looks like a cool little stove. Just what I've been looking for.
