I'm thinking of taking the course.What do you think?

Community First Aid and Safety (CFAS)

This course, which meets the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines for First Aid training, includes certification in Adult CPR, Infant and Child CPR and First Aid and AED. Participants will learn to:
Perform Adult, Infant and Child CPR with AED
Administer First Aid for bleeding, burns, cuts, scrapes and bruises
Care for muscle, bone and joint injuries

I think it's a great idea. You carry a gun to protect yourself and your family. This is just another way to keep those close to you safe.

My thoughts as well.I have taken this course before years ago figured I might as well take it again.

The breath to compression ratio seems to change every year. The important thing to remember is you're acting as the persons heart and lungs. Keep moving air and blood until EMS gets there to take over.

I trying to find advance emergency aid without changing my major.There used to be an EMT course you could take with one of the local EMT/Rescue departments but it appears now you have to go real school to become an EMT.My ex is a nurse and she took the class for the knowledge,I should have taken the class with her.
