Considering the "object" in question follows a debris path and does not change directions kind of leads one to believe space junk.

Regardless, this would not be the first time a strange object was reported by an astronaut in orbit.

1991-Atlixco, Puebla, Mexico. This glowing red UFO with lights was taken by the Puebla Judicial Police on July 7, 1991 after they were called out on a call from residents of an unknown object in the area.

Its not....it was huge....Belgium police seen it close up hovering....dead silent.
