I bought a suburban in 05' for a hunting truck. The guy I bought it from was an Austin PO.In the CD player he had a Jewel CD,he blushed when he took it out and said this was his guilty pleasure.

I did not really care but thought it funny that he would be ashamed to listening to Jewel.

Recently one my cousins and I were talking about music and he mentioned that he was ashamed that he listened to the Bee Gees.

So yeah I would have been too.I listen to all kinds of music and nearly all genres.Nothing I'm ashamed to say I like.

Can't say I'd be ashamed of jewel, I think I have atleast one of her songs on my MP3 player right now, I get some comments about the music on my player at work which goes from Neil Diamond, the Beach boys to the Cars, Primus and even the song Good Bye Horses (which is funny to see people realize where that song came from).

i wouldnt say im ashamed, but there is some music i wouldnt listen to too laud in public. but yeah, i like a lot of different generas. i cant stand country, but other than that, although im a metal guy, there are a lot of good songs. from abba to lady gaga, beyonce, even some rap, although i couldnt name any titles or artists.

if i were ashamed, i wouldnt have just admitted it ;) but then i dont want to be seen driving down the street blasting "dancing queen" either.

Ug...the list is pretty long and I really don't know 3/4ths of the names anyway.

Most of the ones I would be "embarrassed" to listen to I listen to for nostalgia's sake

My daughter and two of her friends had a dance they did to this song, it's on one of my youtube playlists and it makes me think of her while she's off at college.

There are some other songs that remind me of some girl or some time in the past, that I wouldn't particularly want to blast going down the street.

It's kinda like when you flip channels on the TV and stumble across reruns of some sitcom you watched as a pre-teen, pause for a moment to reminisce and someone walks in the room and gives you a look.

I have never heard her sing....so I cannot comment.....the pictures I have seen of her she looks like she is trying too hard to get attention.

Tea for the Tillerman was the first album that I ever owned. My parents got it for me for Christmas when I was like 5 or 6. I am a fan.

it's pretty common for me to turn down the radio while sitting at a stop sign with my window down. OTOH I find it hilarious to be crusing around in my beat to crap ford blasting the eurythmics or some early 90's dance song.

I bought the 8 track when it came out....played it until the tape deck kept eating it.....spliced it back together a few times...finally had to give up and toss it.
