Creativity + Waterjet + Powder Coat = Coolness!!!

I had a bright idea to make something to go on the front of my gun cabinet. I traced a pic of one of my builds and cut it out on the waterjet at work. I pressed some 10-32 x 1/2" PEM stand-offs through the rifle and installed screws from the backside. I'll attach it to my cabinet with double sided tape.

I have another back plate that I'm making tomorrow that should come out awesome. I'll post pics of it once it's finished. I can imagine a market for these!!!

TDB, the H&S just came.
Took a few minutes to un-package it. There's enough sheet foam to insulate a small house, LOL.

Man, I gave it a twice over, and I don't know of a company that could make this any better. The workmanship is exceptional. :dancingsmile:

It's 3 dimensional due to the studs raising it off the wrinkle finish back plate. Just beautiful!!!

If any of you guys are thinking about getting one of these or the AK version, you WON'T regret it, PERIOD.

I'm working on it. It's actually a little more tricky because it will have to be done as individual pieces to make it look right. That means more PEM stand offs and screws from the back side BUT it CAN and WILL get done.

The main issue is that our waterjet is down right now and our production is taking a huge hit. The GOOD news is that the paperwork will be finalized next week for the delivery of our laser!!!!

What sets it off is it's 3D, not just sitting on the plate. Looks as though it's floating.
