It looks like Browning is introducing thier version of a 1911 chamberd in .22 LR.

I'm just curious if Browning is the actual manufacturer or if these are being made under contact by someone else for Browning. I don't see this pistol yet listed anywhere on the Browning website.

Yeah, but isn't the Chiappa full size? The Browning is smaller than a standard 1911.

I believe you are right on the Chiappa and much cheaper too.Why are they making a mini 1911?
