One of my favorite bands in the 70s.I hitchiked to tucson one summer to see them open the Fleetwood mac concert, they played at U of A stadium, and a summer monsoon storm was starting up, they opened with Fire on the mountain as a lightning storm blasted the surrounding mountains, they made it through their set before the rains hit.

I loved the Marshall Tucker Band. Saw them a couple of times in St. Louis, back in the 70's. I remember one show that had the Charlie Daniels Band as the opening act. About half way through MTBs' set, Charlie joined them on stage and played the fiddle. The highlight was a 10 minute jam called 24 Hours at a Time. Awesome!
