I've got about 1000 rounds of Yugoslavian tok ammo and two cans (minus a box) of Romanaina tok ammo.

Both ran about $150 per can or equivalent quantity.

The Yugo did not function 100% of the time in my Polish tok even though this pistol struck the primers pretty well - about one in 9 or 10 would fail to fire and would go on the next firing pin strike. It does function 100% in my Yugo tok (which is ironic) though.

The Romanian is good for both and is what I recommend for all tokarevs when asked.

I got the Yugo from J&G and the Romanian from the Ammoman.

I've got the same ammo... mine functions flawlessly in my CZ52... BUT!

I did replace the firing pin.

Have you tried that in your pistol?

Well I sold the Polish Tok off on gunbroker. I think it was probably more the strength of the hammer spring? Or maybe just slicking up the firing pin and channel a bit would have improved that. Regardless, its was just the Yugo ammo that gave it trouble.

Its a very good idea to change out the pins on the 52's as they tend to brake easily - the originals are very brittle - and people can't seem to keep from dry firing too - which is a no-no for the 52's...
