I was surprised at the felt "punch" and the consistency of the silver bear FMJ I got from AIM.

The accuracy of these little pistols was surprising as well. Its like full size accuracy at decent ranges, coming from a tiny little slide. I definitely recommend them as a budget defense pistol. My only gripe is the price of spare mags, $30 is WAY too much for a $200 gun.

I agree about the mag price, but adding one to the two supplied with the pistol should be enough to last the life of the pistol.
I'm not a mag whore, buy have several for my AKs. At least they are cheap.

I was surprised at the felt "punch"... The accuracy of these little pistols was surprising as well...Both are because of having a fixed barrel! ;)

A Makarov, or even a .380 with a pinned barrel will feel a lot more punch because the slide takes all the recoil energy. But they will also be more accurate because the barrel stays in place...

Yes, I've learned this recently with the CZ-82, Makarov, and PPK.

Printerman, do I see that correctly? Is your forward grip mounted at an angle or on the side of your rail? Tell me that's an optical illusion.

I could be wrong. Looks like it. It looks like it's in the folded position. Unfold, and it'll be a Ghetto Gangsta grip.............................

Some are designed to angle out so as not to interfere with the curved magazine of the 7.62x39mm. That's what Dave Fortier claimed in a Guns & Ammo article.
