Well, that's a new one on me, I usually just take a magnesium starter for this purpose.

Survivor man did that with a car battery once.

I forgot all about that.Pretty damn cool.Steel wool is light enough to carry with you in an emergency pack.

9 volt are the easiest because of where the terminals are located. ;)

That is an old one but a good one.

Thats pretty cool if it works with other batteries since you most likely have batteries in you emergency pack anyway.

Aw fiddlesticks, I was hoping for a better fire bow or how to mix up a flammable mixture by chewing 7 kinds of berries and two roots. I never carry steel wool and a 9 volt battery with me in the woods.
