If the dam milk jug would of just stayed still then maybe it would of not taken so many shots to kill it.

Thing is, no self respecting milk jug would EVER be caught out in the open.
Milk jugs are naturally nervous and illusive.
You have to cripple them first, then finish them off.

Operator error?? I hear they are really hard to hit when they go into stealth mode.

You just illustrated the problem with depending on overwhelming firepower.

If that was NFA, set it on semi next time. :)

If those were zombies you just got ate up. :smiley_freak:

I usually fill jugs 1/4 of the way up with sand or loose dirt to keep them
from hopping around. Water leaks out easily. A dead milk jug is a happy milk jug.

Sand/dirt would work nicely, i'm sure. When we shoot, we use milk jugs, 2 liter bottles, etc that we have filled with water and frozen. They seem to hold up to relatively prolonged shooting and if using a larger bore (7.62 x 39 included) weapon they sometimes erupt in little white explosions...kinda entertaining. Lord knows they sure don't move much...they fall over, but beyond that they stay grounded pretty well.

Try shooting with at least one of your eyes open. :coffee:
