I'm new obviously to this forum and AK's. Also, how would I find instructions to widen receiver to accept double stack mags on this forum?

http://www.novarata.net/Linx310/furnitureremoval.shtml This shows you how to do it.

And damn that site makes me miss the days of cheap SAR-1's.

Oh and thanks again Linx.

hey, i have a dragunov stock and grip on a wasr 10. I want to put ATI furniture on it but the new pistol grip has a long screw and nut that came with it, but there is no hole in my receiver. Do i just drill a hole in the middle of my receiver near the trigger guard to fit it up or what? Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. I'll try not to ask any more stupid questions after this one. Ethan

The nut that the pistol grip screw goes into should be rectangular "T" shape that fits into a square hole that should be in the bottom of the receiver. That T-nut is beveled to angle toward the rear because the pistol grip screw comes up at an angle.

yes you are right. I only saw the screw and not the nut in the pile of hardware i got with the kit. It is t-shaped, sorry about the question.

Please don't feel bad about asking questions, that is the only way to learn something without damaging something.

We were all new to this at one time.

By the way, the only stupid question is the one you don't ask, then damage something or worse.
