Not the death of the site. What you see is this site's BEST QUALITY. The freedom to have an opinion, even if nobody else agrees with it and even if it pisses people off.

This is a privately owned site. The owners do not have to allow the freedom that they do. The First Amendment does not apply here (or on any other board).

It is the fact that the owners CHOOSE to allow virtually any opinion or speech that isn't blatantly illegal or immoral that makes Gunsnet a notch above the rest.


Exactly. It makes me laugh when an alleged freedom-loving conservative or libertarian stumble across an opinion they disagree with and pupate into a communist authoritarian.

Plus it was the second time Ruskiegunlover played his tricks on me. I let him off the first time. No more. It's zero tolerance for Comrade Ruskie from now on.

Joey should give up his U.K. citizenship or is that subject ship and become an American. He can't understand why the rest of the world does not agree with him.:smile: I think given enough time Joey would come to realize the U.K.'s socialist experiment has deteriorated into little more than a police state. Armed men have a better chance of surviving the imperfections of governments than those who are unarmed. He should realize that free societies are less dangerous than those controlled by philosopher gods. The U.K.’s own crime rate as an example and it appears to be getting worse, not better.

London has become little more than a breeding ground for thugs, killing is common place, firearms and knives are fairly easy to get if you know who to talk to. I cannot think of any other forum where Joey would be tolerated even close to what GUNSNET is willing to tolerate, he should bare that in mind. I see that his banishment is not permanent; he should view that as real freedom not found elsewhere on the Internet. At most other sites, once is permanent. As for his comments I suspect he was just upset about the shooting incident and views it as American culture when in fact it was the actions of a lone crazy person and the world is filled with crazy people.

He did endure quite a few quips, cracks and insults and little in regards to solid counter arguments to his position on various issues. I think that a lot of forums on the Internet that cover various issues and topics are probably already watched by the H.L.S. and other agencies so his reporting as he threaten to do; would be of little consequence. With the recent attempts by H.L.S., the F.C.C. and others to set-up the so called “fairness doctrine” I think the one thing that will beat this insidious attempt at control and one world thought the elitists so desperately want, is toleration.

GUNSNET leads the way to true freedom of expression, thought and the concept that firearms ownership is indeed the mark of a free man. For that, I salute you.:animatedsalute:
