old luger marked S42 1939

hi guys , I have a old luger marked S42 1939 , does anyone know who made my German Luger ??

I Googled "luger s42 1939". It looks to have been made by Mauser.

Grumpy, I would agree with ltorlo64. If your P.08 Luger is marked S/42 then it was made by Mauser in Obendorf, Germany. The link below shows pictures of a S/42 from 1939. Yours should look very similar.

hi guys , wow , a mauser luger , now all I need is a couple more magazines and a classic Shoulder holster and I'l be all set , I guess I will now have to buy a K98 mauser rifle to go along with my Masuer Luger to complete the set,[ and ammo belt and pouches] many thanks, stay warm , grumpy
