Last night if you noticed a huge slowdown in bandwidth (8pm-10:30pm CST) and possibly were kicked off the site.. I setup the standby server for GN and AK.
We have some major upgrades coming up soon so I'll make the change on the standby server and switch you'all over so you can test it. LOL. Seriously though, thats what I'll do. I'm not expecting any major issues. This will not be a "surprise switchover", you'll be given advance notice.
Over the next few days I'll be writing some scripts to keep the primary server and standby server in sync. After I'm done I'll do the upgrades to vBulletin, switch you guys and you can have at it.
