Purchased my first Ak after looking and looking and looking.....I finally found one that caught my eye. A Hungarian SA85 with a DC industries NDS-3 Reciever. Pre ban style http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll93/spliznat/AK.jpg

Nice. My friend had a Hungarian. We took it to the range on one drill weekend and he was knocking down the 300 meter pop up target every couple of shots. It was prettier than my Romanian SAR-3.

Good pick!

Welcome to the group !!! :welcome:

And welcome to the AK-addiction! You picked a good one for your first AK variant! The problem with AKs is you just can't have one. You get your first, then you want one in a different style, then from a different country, then different caliber, then......ADDICTED!

Again, welcome to the group and enjoy your new AK variant!

Yep.. I've gotten 2 in the last month.. up to 3 now.

NICE gun. I passed one up a few months back, I was broke and the gun was dressed up in "tactical" furniture..
