a while back OE stopped letting me activate hotlinks from inside an email. you know, like clicking that link to a cool YouTube vid that your bud mailed you? i have to right click it and paste the addy into my browser. it's getting kinda old having to do this.

for the life of me i can't seem to find the switch that will enable this feature. it's probably somewhere silly that i'm just not thinking of.

help a brother out?

Go with Thunderbird. You'll love it. It's stand alone email thingy.

If you have IE, which I hate with a passion, try FireFox.

I'll NEVER go back to IE or Outlook Express.

What happens if you hold the ctrl button down while clicking the link.

i may look at T-bird. i've heard of it but never looked.

and i do normally use Firefox though tonite it's giving me fits so i'm on with IE right now. Firefox is having issues with the "php" files here. it asks what to open (or save) them with (never did that before) and then wigs out no matter what i tell it to do. just the other day i had to reinstall Firefox when the "Ask.com toolbar add-on took a shit and started a uncompleteable script file. after i tracked it down and nuked Ask it was fine and now it's wigging again.

i don't feel like fixing it right now.

that worked but seems like a temp fix. i wonder what the REAL problem is?

I dumped ASK too.
Normally, reistalling Firefox fixes issues for me. Only had to do it once though.
