At the gun show today I saw a couple of tables of remanufactured ammo. This ammo was a very good price. I don't know much about remanufactured ammo. What are your experiences with remanufactured ammo. Is the deal as good as it looks or do you get what you pay for?

A re-manufacturer called TALON about 6 to 8 years ago made 30.06 and .308 ammo from Govt. components. I was never disappointed. I still have a bunch of the stuff.

ETA- This stuff fed my Garand and my M14. In other words I wasn't looking for .5 MOA...

I am looking to hit what I aim at from about 100 yards out. I am not trying to be a sniper and if I do I will spend more on the ammo!

O.S.O.K.

btcave hit the nail on the head - this is ammo made from (usually) once-fired brass. If they clean and inspect the brass properly, it will be just fine - certainly good for target practice. Not as tight spec as most factory ammo but maybe shoots 2" groups at 100 instead of 1- 1.5".
