Anyone own or have hands-on with one of these Arsenal rifles?

I've been considering adding one to the collection. Price seems pretty damn reasonable @ 825.00 for a Russian '74.

I have a arsenal SLR 105, kicks ass. One of my favorite guns.

I don't have one but I know some who do and they love them.

Why not find a stock Saiga 5.45 and make your own? A lot less $$ and you get the pride of something that you created yourself. :)

The parts are available from Dinzang over on Saiga12.com

To be frank, just laziness on my part. My business had a pretty good year in '10 so I'm rewarding myself with some long-deferred acquisitions. I like the idea of having a 74 clone made at the Izhmash facility where my namesake still works. Just pull 'er out of the shipping box, clean, then start busting 5.45 caps. :wild-mg:

I bought a Saiga AK 74 in .223 I really thought this would be a fun gun and not too accurate. I scoped it and sighted it in at home at 50 yards with a lazer plug.

I wish I could find one around here. I would seriously like to look at one. I would probably get it if I could find one.
