Hey if anyone can help I have a question. Is there a good way to store these pistols so the the cardboard and all that is not wearing on the finish. Just looking for a good way to keep these stored. I have a safe with a dehumidifier just wondering if its better to lay them on something and not store them in their boxes.

Nice to see the old pristine 1911s.
Congrats on the nice collection.
I once owned a new Colt Ace and regret everyday after I sold it.

Love the 1911's. There are not many guns that are 100 years old and still going strong.

Thanks for posting http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu275/jbritt67/emoticons/lovegunporn.gif

Man that is some vintage eye candy. They should all have classic tags.

You could get individual pistol sleeves for them since you already have a safe. Something like these http://acecase.com/mix-match-pistol-sleeve-cases-any-3-for-12.html. Disclaimer: I have never done business with these people, they just had a good picture of what I am talking about. With the sleeves you can still protect the pistols while minimizing the wear on the boxes. Just my suggestion.
