Once I get Guns Network & AK-47.net 95% done.... We will be getting with LINX310 and we will host his website as we talked about. I still have to work out the details but we have his complete website ready for him.

I have been collecting AK-47 for years and seems the Romanian variants end up in my gun closet, some of the SARs in a safe, and under the beds and in my truck, more than any others. I do not like the 2005-07 manufactured AKMs. Cheap price....cheap gun. My two favorites are the SARs and the WASR-10/63. Reliable, rugged, easily modified, and with some minor home gunsmithing, can be turned from a Ford Pickup Truck to a Corvette. First, I take that crappy wire trigger and hammer retainer out and put in a KCI retainer plate. (Krebs Custom) Then I drop the Tapco G-2 trigger assembly in. (needle nose pliers and small punch and hammer) Take the cheap wood off and put Tapco, or ATI stocks and fore-grips on, and have an almost indestructible semi that takes almost any magazine. I like the Tapco mags, but prefer the MagPul if given the choice. Unless you really know your AK varianst, looks like a hot semi, custom. I've got the Maadi, the Yugo and Hungarian T-3 and bought a Poly-Tech Legend for $1400 and my Romanians shoot about the same once I get done with them. I would not alter my Arsenals or Poly-Tech. I have purchased several AK-74s of Romanian make and Century seems to have gotten the message that we will forego the junk they were importing and 922 complianced WASR-10s, and spend $400-$500 more to get a good AK-47. My Romanian AK-74s are well made, need little alteration (Tapco G-2 Trigger Assembly pre-installed) and do not rattle when the mag is empty. I'm impressed with the ballistics of the 5.45X39 round. (Still have to take that cheap wire out of them and put in the plate)
