Welcome to the group !!! :welcome:

As everyone who know me knows, I have this silly thing about the mags that the Romanians designed the SAR-3 to use. They are from the STG-940 system and get their name from the town in Germany that produces them. Wiesa, Germany.

I need to and will contact Apex and let them know that they have them spelled wrong. :D

Late update: the steel 30 rd. (Wieger/Weiger) Mags I ordered arrived in 5 working days. Mags lockup, feed, and eject perfectly in my Romanian SAR 3 (223).
I'm a happy camper with my purchase!

well of course they work.......how about those hk33 kits.........hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm a sbr'd 223 sounds kinda sick right about now,who would have recs. for these and how much would a rec. cost/

It is too bad there isn't a standard .223 mag for the AK as there is for the 7.62x39.

The SAR-3 is really a very nice, fun to shoot AK variant.

I did drop a line to Apex but it seems that either they can't change their ad, or don't want to admit they made a mistake. :D
