Just picked this one up converted already.....gonna add the hk sights and go to a 18 inch overall barrel length.......do yiou guys know what people have been using to refinish these? I heard the factory finish is powdercoat. if thats the case powdercoat ususlly has to be fully removed before refinishing...any expierience with saiga refinishing..

i doubt any firearm was ever finished with powdercoat. it usually goes on very thick, which is not good for mechanisms with close tolerance parts.
