Firearms Fair Trade Group Sues ATF For Banning Importation Certain Firearm Barrels

Washington, DC --(Ammoland.com)- Today the FAIR Trade Group took action to sue the federal government for arbitrarily changing interpretation of federal law regarding the importation of certain firearm barrels to the detriment of the firearms community.

The ATF reversed years of statutory interpretation of the Gun Control Act and is acting in conflict with published implementing regulations regarding the importability of certain firearms barrels. ATF is enforcing the new interpretation of the law without any change to the regulations.

Hopefully we will win this one, and it will continue until there is no more parts count stupidity, and our second amendment rights aren't blindsided by import restrictions on that which shall not be infringed.

Well, about four or five years too late, but better now than never.

I wonder how many complete AK kits still exist with barrels. I bet most have already been dismantled for import.

I know a place not too far away that has like 56,000 AK kits in storage w/barrels

Suit won't be necessary if somebody with cojones would look at these useless turd eaters and just dismantle the agency. In the meantime their gun smuggling program has been such a hit with the public that even the liberals are outraged they are just burying themselves eyebrow deep in kimchi.
