I pay $600 every six month's to keep my truck and my wife's SUV fully covered. 50/100/50 I catch a little bit of a break because I have my home owners insurance with the same company as my auto insurance.

It will vary by state. To get a realistic idea, you'll have to call different companies and get quotes in your state.

Too many variables.
Kids rates are always a lot higher than adult rates.
If the child can get on his parents policy, It’s usually a little cheaper.

Around $325-$350 for my 95 F150 and 2002 Acura RL.

Depends on the year and type of the vehicle too.

Is that full coverage or just liability? If that's full coverage, I need to move to Virginia.

Yeah this informal poll will mean nothing, it varies between states and driving records. When I went from Ohio to KY it almost doubled, I guess driving off a road in Ohio means you're hitting corn, in KY it involves falling down a mountain :) . Recently I bought a house in Ohio and switched back resulting in my rates dropping again. But if it helps on 2003 Ford CV I'm paying $305 a year.

Full coverage. Was going to drop it to just liability on the F150 but the decrease wasn't enough to bother with. I use State Farm for my auto and homeowners so we get a discount for that as well as multi-car. Our deductible is $250

Just checked by account and I was wrong. It's $396 for six months not $325-$350.

Yeah....I kinda get the same feelin when I talk to those folks as I do when I talk to a used car salesmen....fast talkers....I always get the feelin that once they find out how much you were paying...then they drop it just a little under what you were paying.

$810 on a 98 Jimmy and 98 blazer....full coverage ANPAC.This also includes home owners.....big city rates are generally higher due to number on uninsured and unlicened drivers. Had them for 10 years, guess it's time to shop!

Well I must be doing ok with State Farm cuz full coverage on my truck is a tad over $400 for six months. Buuuut, my wife's car and our home ins. is also state farm for the multiple discount. Not sure what my wife pay's on her car. I've heard good things about all-state, but like everyone says call around. Many of them you can get a quote online.

Like anything else I guess...just like shopping around for new gun. One shop has it for whatever, across town it can be bought for $100 less or whatever.

This seems inline with our ins. plan 2006 f-150, 2007 Honda Accord, we also have the autos on our homeowners ins.

Two for 6 months with a clean driving record.

The only claim I've had in yeas was last winter when a limb came down in an ice storm.

What I cannot understand is how the rates from the same insurance company is different from agent to agent.

It depends on where you live, the value and classification of your car, your driving record, your deductible, your coverage and limits on that coverage, miles driven (work or pleasure), multi-car discounts, etc. Everybody is different. I can't count the times I've asked for a quote from another insurer and when I told them I was with SF they simply told me they couldn't beat what SF was charging me. I've been a State Farm customer for 34 years as has my wife. Maybe that helps?

I pay $168 a month for full coverage on: 89 ford F250, 89 chevy K2500, 00 toyota tundra, 77 chevy k1500, 97 geo metro plus home insurance and personal liability insurance. All the trucks/car are full coverage and the old lady had a speeding ticket almost three years ago. That will drop down $20 a month in August. That is with State Farm. Was with American Family Ins but was paying $340 month with just liability on all the trucks. Hell Of a different. Plus Once I pick a company I tend to stay with them for a long time.

Got some suggestions on other companies? I deal with most of em on a daily basis...ANPAC is ,to me, the lesser of hassels...kinda mid range but, they pay off and are easier to deal with.

American National Property and Casulity, primarily write PC policies. My driving record is good, have filed no claims with them. I've thought of checking out GEICO or USAA. I had State Farm for years, they doubled rates after a zip code change. ANPAC was 1/3 what SF wanted....that's how I wound up with them.
