I saw the same phenomena here in Oregon about 14 years ago. There was a weird overcast/clouds and it was late afternoon. There were TWO suns! There was enough space between the real one and the mirage to fit about 10 suns between the two. It was pretty cool to look up into what looked like an alien sky.
