Ah - you're thinking I'm talking about the recoil of a MN - nope.

I get a kick out of it when somebody I know "discovers" the mosin nagant m91-30 rifle. One of the guys that works for me has been bitten by the gun bug (yes, I'm guilty...) and so he stumbles onto a shop that sells milsurps = they have some mn's on sale for $120 - which isn't bad for a shop like that. He calls me up asking if its a good deal.

I tell him he needs one and I can steer him to some good ammo.

Another one bites the dust...

You are indeed a good/evil man.
Good that you turned someone on to a great rifle.
Evil in that he will now be spending more money. But, money well spent, IMO.

Good job.

I sold all my Mosins years ago.

Even with the local $99 price tag I might pick one up eventually.

It doesn't stop.. Now matter how many you've had you always inspect every single one of them at a shop.

I agree.
I am thinking seriously about picking up a couple more at AIM, but the SBR project is first.

And just look at the wood on them. It don't get much better for that kind of price. Plus the fact surplus ammo is still reasonable and fun to shoot.
