The regime needs to have citizens, especially law enforcement and military, equate patriots to racists. This will make martial law and constitutional suspension go smoother for the regime.

Pretty clear message. Anyone who opposes illegal immigration is a racist.

They already did. They equated people who believe in the Constitution as terrorists. Frankly that makes them our enemy. A government that considers people that want to hold them to their powers enumerated by the Constitution enemies? It's becoming beyond believeable.
