I've noticed several places having Wise Company brand emergency (freeze dried) food buckets/packs on sale. How does it compare to Mountain House and other better brands out there as far as price for taste/quality?

Tried Wise once, very salty and bland...reminded me of Ramen noodles. Mountain House on the other hand is very good.

I have 3 buckets.. tried some already and its better than nothing.. the one thing i am doing is stocking #10 cans.. like the beef chunks.. you take one of the wise's soups then ad some freezed dried beef chunks and its not to bad.... store some spices with each bucket and your good..
The best that i have had is the mountan house but good luck getting it right now the #10 cans are hard to get..

It is what it is. a back up food supply
