Anybody here try the Polish FMJ surplus ammo in the Yugoslavian TT-33 pistols? anything I need to worry about? good? bad? and does anyone know if it is mild steel core or just steel/copper jacketed lead? thank ya for your time

Don't know about composition other than it's corrosively primed like all of the other milsurp 7.62. I believe that most all of this stuff was manufactured in the 50's? From what I've seen posted, it works fine but you get a lot of neck splits in the brass and accuracy isn't that wonderful.

If you haven't purchased yet, I highly recommend the Romanian stuff.

The Yugo is is also excellent but has hard primers - works great in my Yugo 57 but my Romanian tok would fail to detonate about 1 in 10 rounds...
