Finally got my FIL to join the dark side. He bought his first survival rifle (a bushy AR). I haven't bought an AR mag in years, so I don't know anymore what are still good and who has the best deal .

Thank you guys in advance. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If you like steel mags, CDNN has Fusils right now for 10 bucks each.

I've never used them myself, but I've heard good things about them.

I'm not an AR expert but I would get P-Mags if it was me. Unless they don't fit in you mag pouchs.

I went with these. Stainless with an anti-tilt follower, and Rainier arms ships fast. I have some P-mags as well. They don't fit in my mag pouches, but other then that they are a superior product.
