I ordered my Ar-15 kit back on 4 March. I knew there might be a wait but dang. Hopefully something will show up this week or next. Fingers crossed!

I too ordered from them but they took too long and I canceled my order and got set up to reload all of my calibers instead. Good luck man.

Mine took 5 or 6 months as I recall. Worth the wait. They included a complete bolt assembly which I did not order or pay for.

I ordered one about the same time and I haven't seen it yet. A friend ordered one a week before and he recieved his about a week ago. It should be soon. This reminds me of waiting for my Garand from CMP.

Well, I'm a fairly patient guy, and thankfully with spring here I can easily head to the public range to test fire this rifle when she is all put together (16" lightweight, chrome-lined if anyone is wondering...flat top).

Most everyone is running behind right now.

It must be the "tax-return" time of year or something, and they are swamped with orders.

When I ordered my rifle kit from Del-Ton back in November, it took 8 days to get to my door step from the time I ordered it. That's 8 calender days!

I used my tax return...figured I'll buy American and help out the economy while getting a fun project :)

Next week it will be here. Apparently they had a large holdup on chrome-lined lightweight barrels. All the same, I'm happy :)

Frequently delivery runs long from Del-Ton but it's because they provide quailty parts at a good price. As such they stay very busy and sold out frequently. I think when you get your order you will be quite satisfied with the quality.

My kit shipped out yesterday. Should have it early next week! Can't wait, but I will.

Del-Ton emailed me yesterday...rifle upper is now in the shop being assembled, so it looks like it will ship out next week. Seven weeks in total then.

I ordered mine on March 4th and it will be here Friday. I do live across the country so it is taking almost a week for shipping. Can't wait for the pics (of either one!).

So it is FINALLY shipped. Should arrive in a day or two.

Question though. I have had an Aero Precision lower sitting in a drawer for ages. I was putting tape on it and noticed something:

How does the trigger guard hold in place if there is no indentation on the one ear? I know there the pin goes in, but shouldn't there be an indentation or something to hold the other end of the guard in place?

It has a plunger style detent. It's designed to that way so the trigger guard can swing down out of the way so you can use thick gloves in winter. Your receiver is normal.

Phew! Just making sure everything is squared away so I can build this kit and get her to the range ASAP :)
