Same thing that happens to every politician who gets elected, our tough talking legislature/governor has rolled over on several election campaign stances.

The politicians in Arizona have always been a little on the wacky side, we have one repub who got caught beating up his drunk girlfriend on the side of the freeway, and another whos wife and daughter are going to prison for molesting a young boy since his 13th birthday, and then there's the whole fiesta bowl fiasco.

I'm just glad she signed the no permit for CCW law before the election or that wouldn't have been signed either.
As far as the big to do over SB1070 goes, that has been largely swept under the rug just as most immigration reforms in the last 20 years have been after the elections are over. Our election ballots are still printed in mexican, that was supposed to stop over ten years ago, passed by a 70% margin and has been completely ignored.
