This looks like a really nice one, and it might go fairly cheap in my mind.

Looks nice. At least in my neck of the woods you don't run across a round butt on much expect the 2" models. Kind of like the looks of it on the 4" barrel. Wonder what the reserve is?

Ditto. If I wasn't lookin' for a house, I'd bid $300-350 under the condition that I could drive out and pick it up myself. I suspect it's not going to sale. Perhaps he'll list a reserve next time.

It has a reserve price, who knows what the seller will really take for it. IMO reserve prices above the start price are silly, if you won't take less then $350 for it start the auction at $350...

Agree 100%. I never saw the reserve price on that S&W. If you did, could you let me know what it was?

Hope you can still get it. I absolutely love my Model 10 - even though it's a newer bull barreled model...

Me neither, I thought about going to about $325 for it but figure he wants $400+ for it.

It didn't sale.

Personally, as much as I liked it, for $400 I'd lean toward a 3913 over a model 10. The 3913 shoots slightly more powerful ammo (9mm), hold 9 rounds as opposed to 6, and finally, it's a lot flatter for concealed carry.

OTOH, $300 for such a fine lookin' revolver would be a good deal in my eyes.

But like I said, I'm looking to buy a home soon.

Same experience where I have lived also.
