I spent my weekend building two box blinds for the deer lease. We have to finish the windows and then drive them to the lease and set them up.

Nice, so you have to disassemble then reassemble at the site....

Lots of work, but worth it if you can leave the blinds up year long?

We build the boxes and stands separate.Haul them down on the flatbed trailer.Use racket straps to hold the box and stand together and then lift them in place.Screw the boxes to the stands and then anchor using stakes and double wire on the corners.

We are using treated lumber and galvanized screws and lag bolts.Very solid and stout. We have 4 other built like these on the lease now and they have been there for a year now.Lots of work but worth the effort.

We share the lease with two other hunters that sort of modeled their blinds off ours but not near as stout. They have already had to go out and put one back up and replace the roof. They used normal untreated lumber and it is showing.

Interesting, but where are the AC units and the satellite dish? :)

Those come later with the refrigerated keg box and lazy-boy recliner.
