This will be a nice change around here as all the WallyWorlds within 50 miles stopped selling guns. It's a decent place to pick up the occasional Fudd gun or 10/22.

Our local WW sells them. In fact, I spied a taurus Circut Judge on the rack the other day. Good feel to the gun.

They have the best price on Ruger stuff.

Really been eyeing up a Mini-14 .

Have no issue buying guns there since most are US made.

Yeah, I heard this on Fox News - they are trying to get the men to come back into the stores. Fools. WTF did they think would happen when they took away one of the primary toy items for the adult male? They actually said "guns and ammo" - think how much of the last ammo run they missed because of their stupid PC decision.

The Mini-14 was designed by Jim Sullivan who along with Bob Fremont designed the AR-15 for ArmaLite. A really good design but has accuracy problems due to the stock and barrel.

Sullivan also designed the Model 77 for Bill Ruger.

Jim Sullivan and Bob Fremont joined back up and designed the Stoner 63 for Cadillac Gage.

Edited to add:

Art Miller designed the AR-18 - AR-180.

I've heard that ruger changed the rifling twist to adress the accuracy issue on newer guns

they've even admitted that its how they pressed the front sights on AFTER the barrel was installed that caused alot of it.

BUT Still.

If IT goes BANG every shot and can hit MOBG at 300yds who cares.

You may well be right. The original problem was not the twist but a cheap-ass barrel. Back in the early 1990's Ruger was putting on a barrel that cost about $9.00.

I'm just waiting for the family size crates of hand grenades and bulk packs of M16 like the ones that the Mexicans get.

The past District Manager at my local store put a stop to handgun sales.
Long guns and ammo is still available.
You can special order any gun there. They just don't stock handguns.

You have to go to Sam's Club for that.

Yup......I get most of my Stinger missiles at Sam's Club. Pick up the others at local gun shows.
