I'm still leaning towards this rifle, however I remember reading somewhere that it will only accept plastic magazines. Can anyone verify this? I don't mind plastic but was worried about price and availability.

I am still open to other AK suggestions if anyone has any links to ones that are available. I'd be very appreciative! I'd like to spend less than the KVar Saiga, but don't want to be disappointed. I got the cash and need to purchase soon. Thanks all!

The Saiga can be converted to take standard AK mags. It requires a little work but it can be done. Most of the real converted Saiga rifles have been converted to use standard mags.

What is your price range?

My choice if I had to spare cash would be the Milled Polish rifle.

$600.00 bucks is nice.

I'd like to spend under $800. I'd just like a good solid AK. Eventhough many people say they love their WASRs, I'd prefer to stay away from them. I'd even considering a folder, but one with the standard bayo lug. Thanks for the links. Many of them are out of stock. That sucks.
