The Albanian should get you $400 - $450
The K31 $200 - $225
M38 about $125
VKT $275 - $325

Wish I lived closer - I'd be interested in the Romanian 8MM

Polish M44, Excellent condition with mismatched upper handguard - 250 easy if serialed parts match
Russian M38 - depends on year and some other features - 200 at least
Finn VKT M39 - 250
Finn Tikka 91/30 hex, unissued with hang tag and potbelly stock - 250
Prices are on the conservative side. Sell on Gunbroker, wait for fall if possible. Not much being sold during summer month, prices are lower. I just sold a 1941 Izhevsk M38 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=232805156
Tula M38's are more, 1943 Izhevsks are less.
A mint matching Polish M44 will go for 300-350 - easy.

Queston, is the .30-06 AP US? Next what is the date of manufacture? What arsenal if US? Lastly, how much of it do you have? And BTW, why wouldn't you keep it for Large Marge?

I'll check but IIRC it's LC from the 1950's. Pretty sure I've got 30-40 enbloc clips full and some bandoleers on 03 stipper clips. I've got quite a bit of ball from back when the CMP was selling it at $80 a can as well as cans of Korean (both PS and KA) plus I've got a fair amount of brass, bullets and powder so for the plinking I do with Large Marge it just seems to make sense to make the money off the AP instead of using up on targets at the range.

I've seen them go pretty as of late. Not sure if I'll sell since it's probably the finest Mauser I have, not to disparage my 03A3 but a 1930's Brno Mauser is, IMO about as good as a Mauser gets. If I decide to sell I'll give you a holler.

I know, the front sight post alone is whats got me all hot and bothered about them. They were up there when they were being imported weren't they? like over $200?

Samco Global had several grades and even some barreled actions. The highest ones were the "unissued with test target and bayonet" for around $500 or so, maybe $600. They are still listing "Excellent condition, may have rust spots on barrel" for $500. A barreled action with no bluing is over $200.

That is just nuts.

You know the KA is corrosive primed right? That said, I have sold a lot of ammo after Obama got elected. Used it to finance some suppressors and build my high speed low drag AR carbine. The one round I sold none of was my .30-06 Black Tipped AP ammo. I could of gotten a buck a round easy for it, but I consider it to be THE ammo for that mythical SHTF scenario. When you really want to kill a car or truck motor, not much but .50 Cal. gets quite as good a job done.

Yeah, I know it's corrosive but Marge doesn't care as long as I give her a bath afterwards. I'll admit that 20rds of AP does/can do a job on an inbound auto, not to mention it's occupants. Isn't too shabby on brick and or cinder block either but as they say, you can't take it with you.
