Hey guys I'm looking into purchasing a Daniel Defense M4v2 Carbine. Any of you guys have experience with Daniel Defense? Any reviews or opinions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

They make top tier ARs with quality components that you can count on with your life. You won't regret your purchase.

Personally I think the DDM4v1 with the longer rail that extends beyond the gas block looks uglier but after getting behind one of my friends I think the extra real estate allows for a more aggressive stance and makes up for the appearance.

Better yet, the V3 and V5 offer a midlength gas system which would make for a smoother shooter.

More than just smoother shooter, probably more reliable for extraction. Mid-length gas systems should have a lower internal pressure in the fired case before bolt unlocking. Less issues with tearing rim off the case. Secondary effect is a bayonet fits properly like it would on a 20" weapon.
